What is a Gnome On The Go?
Have you ever heard the urban legend of a gnome who would disappear from their owners gardens, and weeks later they recieve postcards from the theives who took their gnomes to exotic destinations?
Have you seen the movie Amelie?
We've heard the legends and seen the movie, and wished that someone would wisk our gnome Milo off to far away places. With this idea in mind, we created GnomeOnTheGo.com
GnomeOnTheGo gnomes are large magnets, shaped in the image of our favorite garden gnome Milo. The gnomes measure approximately 3.5" x 8" and are made from durable outdoor magnet material.
How do they travel?

GnomeOnTheGo gnomes can travel many different ways. Because they are magnetized, they stick on cars, trucks, or any other metallic surface. If you are planning to travel, take your gnome with you! Snap some photos of your gnome on your trip, go to www.GnomeOnTheGo.com to enter a gnome sighting. You can enter the current location of your gnome, and post a photo of him on location.
Not taking a trip soon? No Problem. Let your gnome find his own way! Give him to a friend to take along on a trip, or just walk outside and stick him on a car with out of state plates. Your gnome has instructions on the bottom telling anyone who finds him how to enter his current location.
How are they tracked?

Each gnome is assigned a unique tracking number called a GnomeCode. Those lucky few who are fortunate enough to meet your gnome along his travels can report his whereabouts and upload photos using this GnomeCode.
Where can I adopt one?
